An excellent property with all the facilities you would expect.

The are around the lodge is stunning. A fabulous place to stay.

Everything about this place was incredible, one of the best holidays we’ve ever had, wild cat lodge was perfect, clean, comfortable and relaxing.

The owner went above and beyond to make sure we were okay and that we had everything we needed.

We had an amazing stay over Christmas at Wildcat Lodge.

Lynn was helpful and communicative and the cabin was clean and very well equipped. We loved stargazing and red squirrel watching from the hot tub! The cabin was very cosy and warm, and the kids loved having their own highland cow hot water bottles. The Christmas hamper and Christmas tree was a lovely touch and made the stay feel even more festive. The kitchen had everything you might need for cooking, making Christmas dinner was a doddle! It was perfect and we all had the most amazing week. We’d love to return in the summer sometime and hike some of the munros that were just a little too snowy for us to attempt. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We spent an incredible 7 nights at Wildcat Lodge.

The property was everything we hoped it would be and the site was clean and quiet, surrounded by the most amazing views. The owner was kindness itself, even when bombarded with stupid questions and she even made a special trip to deliver a new kettle when the old one sprang a leak. I was particularly impressed with the provision of the red squirrels; it's almost as if she knew how much I wanted to see one! We will definitely be returning!

An amazing lodge.

Very clean and well decorated. Perfect to get away for some peace and quiet. Surroundings were fantastic and the owner was so lovely.

We found Wildcat Lodge a beautiful, well-equipped and comfortable home-from-home while we were on holiday in the Cairngorms.

It is situated on a peaceful caravan and camping site surrounded by trees, and we were thrilled to watch red squirrels and birds such as woodpeckers on the feeders outside the Lodge every day. Highly recommended.

Best accommodation we have had yet,amazing location and fabulous lodge and hot tub……I also had a call from the owner to see if all was ok……10/10

We had the best week away in Scotland.

Wildcat lodge was just perfect, warm, well equipped, lovely and clean, great quality linens and towels. The hot tub was great after exploring during the day hiking. Dog friendly with lockable gated decking, bird and squirrel feeders with food left to fill them, we thoroughly enjoyed watching the red squirrels feeding and stocking up every morning. The site was small and quiet with plenty of space between the lodges, absolutely perfect retreat set in the most stunning surroundings. We absolutely loved it!!

Cosy warm clean comfortable cottage in a beautiful location.

Loved the hot tub and the surrounding area. This is our second visit and would definitely visit again and recommend to family and friends.

A comfortable, spacious and well equipped holiday lodge with the bonus of a hot tub for star gazing in the dark January skies.

Temperatures were often sub zero but the lodge quickly warmed up (probably better insulated than our home!) with the main fire a great focal point. Both the kitchen and bathroom looked as good as new and could not be faulted. The various birds and red squirrels kept us amused as they fed just outside the kitchen window. We completed some nice local walks (eg Centre of Scotland Stone) as well as exploring further afield to the Cairngorm mountains, Aviemore and Dalwhinnie. Thanks to Lynn for ensuring all was well, and the shortbread biscuits!

This property was a gem.

Perfect location for exploring the highlands. The lodge had everything we needed and the hot tun was the added bonus. The owner was lovely and checked we were ok, left us a welcome hamper and came mid week to refill and check the hot tub. We spotted Deer, Red Squirrel, a Woodpecker and lots of other birds on the feeder outside the lodge and bird feed was even left so we could top this up

The lodge was really comfortable and very clean.

The welcome pack was a lovely addition as were the tablets for the dishwasher. Also the opportunity to buy souvenirs was a nice touch. Couldn't recommend this lodge highly enough. The site was nice and quiet and the daily visit from the red squirrels was lovely.

What an amazing lodge to stay in!

Everything you could need an more, in a quiet location with stunning views. The lodge was clean, comfortable, cosy, it was perfect. The complimentary tea/coffee supplies were a bonus, Lynn was very helpful on the phone ( shame we never met in person) seeing the squirrels every day from the window was great aswell. Nothing to complain about at all, we would love to be back there again very soon. Thank you Lynn and Eck

The only suggestion I’d like to make is possibly easier access to the hot tub.

We loved it but entering the tub and on exiting the tub we found quite difficult. Possibly a handrail.

Had a truly lovely week staying at Wildcat Lodge.

Quiet area and not too close to other lodges. Most main attractions are under an hour's drive away and there's also plenty of lovely walks on your door step. The lodge itself is clean and comfortable and cosy and has everything you need. It's just a lovely place to stay and we would highly recommend it to everyone that wants some quality time with loved ones, friends or family. We would certainly book again.

Just returned from an absolutely fantastic holiday at Wildcat Lodge, situated in amazing, scenic, peaceful surroundings.

The Cabin/Lodge was more than expected, it was beautiful, spotlessly clean & equipped with everything (& more than expected) it was comfortable & relaxing....the views & wildlife around the lodge were stunning. It was perfectly placed for exploring all in the area. We cant wait to return one day! Everything was PERFECT.

A real luxury cabin with every need catered for. The attention to detail is absolutely brilliant and the location is out of this world. We had a fabulous week here and will be returning. Felt very home from home and the added bonus is the hot tub. Amazing walks and wildlife on your doorstep. Top class.

What a fantastic lodge in a wonderful location.

Convenient for anywhere in the Highlands. Red squirrels and pheasants meander around, and the snow capped mountains made the views unbeatable. I would definitely recommend this lovely ‘home from home’ holiday lodge. All credit to the owners.

We had a wonderful week in Wildcat Lodge near Newtonmore.

The lodge was so clean and cosy, we loved it. Sadly we didn’t see much snow but this is a great base for touring around and I would highly recommend it. We loved watching the birds, red squirrels, hen and cock pheasants feeding from the bird feeder outside the kitchen window. Thank you Lynn and Eck for a truly memorable holiday.

This cabin is superb more like a show home in idealic settings hosts very welcoming will be back here again thats for sure

Amazing little lodge!

Would deffos recommend. Could do with new pillows/mattress on the bed but wouldn’t say its worth knocking a star off. Excellent facilities. Host is lovely.

The four of us (plus 2 mostly well behaved dogs) had an absolutely amazing time a wildcat Lodge.

The lodge itself exceeded my expectations in both quality and comfort. The easy access to nearby walks and the river was fantastic. It was a 6 1/2hr drive to get there and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Hopefully we can return so. Thanks so much for a wonderful week!

Loved our stay, this was our second stay, the lodge was very clean & comfortable, a real home from home & the surroundings in the Cairngorms National Park are breathtakingly beautiful, we can't wait to visit again.

We have had an absolutely amazing stay at 'Wildcat Lodge', everything was totally immaculate and we literally felt at home within the first ten minutes.

.. We have stayed in many cottages in the past several years and I really must say that this is the best yet! The owners clearly care that guests have the lovliest holiday, we even played tennis every night and enjoyed a bike ride with all the provided equipment in the attached shed. The hot tub was glorious and the owners also came mid week to tend to the hot tubs upkeep which we were really grateful for. We totally fell in love with the Lodge, the area and Loch Eilien, we would definately love to returm.. Thank you so much

Very comfortable, great views, great location.

Everything you would need was catered for I.e soap powder, dish washer tablets, toilet rolls, variety of kitchen utensil’s although I would add a smaller bowl. Otherwise everything was perfect. We would definitely stay at Wildcat Lodge again and would recommend. Ollie loved the walks around the area and liked the veranda to watch any people that passed, which there wasn’t many!

Great location with fantastic views. Will definitely be back for another holiday. The jacuzzi was an added bonus and great to go in at night time after lots of walking and sightseeing during the day. The lodge was spacious and comfortable with everything you need. Little gem.

Absolutely fantastic.

Ideal location to explore Cairngorms and further afield. The lodge is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The park it is set on is very quiet and lodges are well spaced out giving you your own privacy. Lodge has digital TV an WiFi and a fully equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are big and spacious, large decking area with hot tub to relax in. The property also has good parking facilities at the lodge. Local attractions are Approximately 1 hour to Fort William, 1 hour to Inverness and 30 mins to Aviemore, all of which are a nice drive. Dalwhinnie Distillery is about 5 miles away and the nearest town Newtonmore has places to eat and drink and a well stocked supermarket for anything you may need. Would definitely stay again.

Set in the most beautiful surroundings, these lodges are set well apart from each other, if you're looking for a peaceful, tranquil get away in a stunning location with lots of beautiful places to explore close at hand then Wildcat Lodge is perfect!

The lodge was spotless, hottub was checked regularly the bottle of bubbly was a nice touch too. Lynn and Eck went above our expectations and we're happy to help with any queries we had. We will definitely be back.

Very clean and comfortable, stunning location, very helpful owners, lovely hot tub, lots of really scenic walks around, plus the river right outside the lodge.

We thoroughly enjoyed our much needed break, it was well worth the long journey!

Well spaced out lodge from other lodges.

Spotlessly clean well maintained hot tub was a bonus fantastic on a dark night seeing all the stars. The owners have thought of everything plenty bin bags dishwasher tablets laundry pods sanitiser wipes and a lovely bottke if processco which was much appreciated . Have already recommended to friends fantastic getaway we will be returning thank you.

Only bit we didn’t like was the midgee’s which we knew about and were prepared for. Avon skin so soft is well know to keep them away and local sprays are good. The owner was Lovely and there if we needed anything. Highly recommend

We were a family of four with two teenage boys.

Wildcat Lodge was perfect for our post lockdown holiday. The whole property including the hot tub were immaculately clean. Whilst lots of places locally were still closed due to Covid-19 it did not impact on our holiday and we made full use of the great outdoors. The teenagers were very happy with the WiFi!! The lodge is in a fabulous spot and we would be more than happy to recommend.

The lodge was amazing, hot tub brilliant in th snow, owners went above and beyond making sure we were comfortable.

This was one of our best holidays, in no small part due to the lovely accommodation.

We arrived to a bottle of Prosecco and got straight in the hot tub after our long journey. It’s one of those places where the people who own it really care, and have thought of absolutely every little detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The kitchen is really well equipped with everything you need to make proper dinners if you so desire! It’s decorated beautifully too - I particularly liked the modern country Scottish type feel, I really liked the style of the kitchen and the light pink tartan/deer motif bedroom! The views from the decking were lovely and sitting out there on the little bench with a coffee before the kids woke up each day was fabulous! We have teenagers and they loved it too - there was Netflix and WiFi

Lovely owners who left us prosecco and home made tablet. Nice wee touch. Robes left for hot tub aswell. They had thought of everything! Lynne and eck the owners are great couldnt do enough for their guests. Great fire as well. We had a great time and ate already looking to book for next year. Great views from lodge too and lots of walks for dogs too.

I cannot fault anything about the accommodation-everything has been thought of by the lovely owners who have gone over and above to ensure that guests have a lovely holiday here. There is so much to see and do in the area too. One of the best family holidays we've ever been on and we have lots of lovely memories. We will be back one day in the not too distant future.

Excellent lodge in a cracking location.

Having previously spoken with the owner regards key collection we were soon in the lodge. The site is very clean, tranquil & peaceful. The lodge is very well equipped & the added extras supplied by the owners were really appreciated. The lodge is an excellent base to explore The Cairngorms, there are excellent links to go further North or across to Fort William. We particularly enjoyed the hottub after our walking days. We really did enjoy our stay & would recommend this as a great base for a holiday in The Highlands.

The owners went out their way to extend a very warm welcoming & provided everything we needed & more. The suggestions for thing's to do & places to go were very thoughtful too. We were sad to leave the Wildcat Lodge & will definitely recommend it to our friends.

Fantastic location great facilities exactly as advertised if not better

Lovely peaceful tranquil setting, the lodge was very well equipped with everything that you needed, beds were comfortable, it was a great base to explore the surrounding area, we went up Ben Nevis on the cable car at fort william, went to the wildlife park and saw the baby polar bear with mum ( my personal highlight ) up the funicular railway at the Cairngorms at aviemore what breath taking scenery it’s colder up there so you need your jacket, Loch Morlich is a Beautiful setting with a small beach great to people watching to see water sports, the hot tub at the lodge is an absolute God send especially after your days out it’s so relaxing and enjoyable to sit in with a tipple of your choice, dressing gowns are provided a lovely touch too, and a nice bottle of prosecco from the owners on arrival, we met the owners when we arrived they were very nice and friendly and offered to drive us back and forth from Newtonmore if we wanted, which we thought was very generous of them, we did get the bikes out of the shed and had a cycle round the site the weather was good so that was a bonus would we stayed for a week from 7/04 - 14/04 2018 we would definately recommend this lodge for a relaxing holiday

The location of this log cabin in excellent for anyone wanting a quiet holiday, it is situated in an excellent location for people who want to see a bit of Scotland , and an ideal base for hill walkers as you can cover both the Cairngorm and Nevis range which are both within one hours drive away.

The log cabin is very clan and well maintained, it also has wifi which is very useful when looking for information on places to visit although there is plenty of information within the lodge, there is also the added bonus of the hot tub where you can relax or for the more energetic there are mountain bike in the shed and lots of tracks to use. one of the best parts of the holiday was watching the young deer walking freely around the park and the red squirrels running around.

Had a fantastic week at wildcat lodge - brilliant lodge - very comfortable - all mod cons & hot tub was lovely after a walk in the mountains.

Met owners Eck & Lyn who are lovely & live locally if you have any problems - which we didn't. Had such a great time in such a lovely chalet that we have already booked to return next May
