What guests are saying
Nice lodge with good facilities in a nice environment setting.
The owner needs to carry out maintenance on worn out basics. The two toilet seats both loose, no chain on bath plug so can't get it out from plug hole. Basin sink plug system kept jamming then jammed making sink unusable. Toilet flush kept jamming then broke all with no force normal use. Front door locked when it worked properly needs replacing worn out so security an issue. Things that should work and not have to worry about while staying in the property on holiday.
We have stayed at other lodges on this park and this is the best yet for quality and equipment.
Sadly, and it may have been down to the hot, dry season but there was a very strong odour from the septic facilities wafting across the deck all week which was most unpleasant and stopped us spending more time outdoors. The hot tub seemed a bit worn and could have done with a good wash over as both tub and cover quite dusty and headrest kept falling off. Inside was all very clean and comfortable (a broom would be good to have). The twin room was not the most practical as it had a door or window on each wall meaning you couldn't have bedside table(s) OK for kids but not so good for adults. We noted a few points for the maintenance staff on departure like the extractor fan not working in the bathroom and the pop up waste sticking down, the front door lock difficult but otherwise a really nice lodge.
Nice quiet site, well maintained, very peaceful.
Lodge was well equipped and very comfortable.
