Honestly, my husband and I literally spent several days on right move looking at potential new homes, that’s how amazing this place is to visit, Utopia is defined an imaginary place or society where everything is perfect, it’s EXACTLY that, we are already looking to book in January again for a winter trip.

My husband and I were in desperate need of a relaxing break and we got exactly that. utopia was the most beautiful place to stay and literally 12 minute drive from the local shops, gym, markets and lots of other wonderful things.The cabin itself is beautiful, clean, tidy, stocked with everything you need, the bed was particularly comfortable and my husband who has never been a great sleeper, slept the whole night through, this place is the stuff dreams are made of and I cannot recommend it enough, thankyou to the owners for our wine and chocolates, we will return, watch this space

Utopia is an excellent shepherds hut with everything you should need.

Very relaxed peaceful place that we would recommend. Close to places to visit if wanted.

We had a lovely week at Utopia , nice quiet location, idyllic setting, private garden.

Comfy bed .. owner very accommodating and kindly sent my charger back that l left at the property….

We had the most amazing stay!

Exactly what we needed. Great location to get to the beaches. Had everything we needed. Was very relaxing. Only thing I would suggest is that a hot tub is added then it would be perfect. We plan to return in the winter.

Easy to book.

Beautiful accommodation. Thoughtfully and elegantly designed and decorated. The private garden with sun loungers, barbecue, etc. made it a haven of peace. The only sounds we heard were the birds and occasionally the horses. Would thoroughly recommend for a break from the noise and chaos of life. Thank you for the welcome gift and for checking we had all we needed. Really appreciated the care and attention.

Spent a week in Utopia from 3rd - 10th July 26 .

Had a lovely week , very relaxing and perfect for 2 people . Utopia has everything you need and is in a peaceful location , very private . Would certainly recommend !!

We haved stayed here a couple times now it is beautiful decoration though out bed is lovely and comfy and the beautiful garden with is totally private just lush

Lovely accommodation and peaceful setting.

The host was very friendly and her knowledge of the area and eating establishments, helped us have some lovely days out and meals. The welcome gift was also very much appreciated. Highly recommended if you like a rural setting.

Just spent 3 nights here absolutely fabulous owner Diana has thought of everything and lots of lovely touches wonderful welcome basket our dog Delilah really enjoyed the enclosed garden .

Utopia was an absolutely amazing place to stay , we loved the shepherds hut ,it was really lovely, the bed was so comfortable.

The outside space was just perfect and it was great to have comfortable sun loungers . The setting was so peaceful, we would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family. Diane was so lovely and she made us feel so welcome, the welcome pack was perfect. Thankyou so much Diane .

Utopia was a great place to stay it had everything we needed and the bed was super comfy.

It was clean and the secure garden was great for the dog. The host was helpful and we didn’t want to come home.

The Utopia Shepherds hut was set in its own fully contained well kept Garden with outdoor seating, sun loungers, BBQ and large decorative pond.

The interior was finished to a high standard with everything needed for a comfortable relaxing break. It was also ideally situated to explore the stunning coastline and local towns.

Utopia was a perfect little gem set in peaceful countryside for a relaxing time away.

The cabin was well equipped with all you need for a short stay. Our dog loved the safe enclosed garden to explore and there were walks across fields from right outside the door. Diana the owner was friendly and very kindly met us to escorts us to the property because of road closures on the main road in. She also left us a lovely welcome gift basket which was unexpected but very thoughtful. Thank you again for a lovely stay. Also there are lots of places to visit a few miles driving away going through pretty villages towards the coast. Would highly recommend a stay at Utopia.

Beautiful place to stay.

We just retuned from a long weekend. Its got everything you need for a weekend stay. Our dog loved the garden. If anything wasn`t any sticks to get the log burner going and the oven had loads of crumbs in it when I open it to cook in. The big head in shower we couldn't get it to work. Windows inside wasn`t very clean .grass was well over grown and last years leaves all over. Lovely to have tea coffee sugar a box of chocolates and a bottle fizz on arrival. Its a place you can switch off . Even with the few issues we would definitely return again.

Really well finished, comfy bed, great shower, warm, cozy and pretty. Love to come back in the summer and enjoy relaxing in the garden. Dexter dog loved his stay too.

Utopia lives up to its name!

A wonderful little escape in the glorious Suffolk countryside. This cozy hideaway is equipped with all the comforts you'll need, complete with log burner to really cement the homely feel. We can't wait to return to this lovely little gem.

A lovely comfortable retreat in a very quiet location, just what we needed.

The garden was very secure and perfect for our dog. Our only disappointment was the footpath from the property as you are immediately faced with two kissing gates, the second of which our dog would not go through as it was very narrow.

Well located for visiting the beautiful coastline near Southwold and surrounding wetlands & countryside. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay, it was ever so nice the hut was super comfy with everything we needed and it was lovely to just open the double doors sit there with a cup of tea and watch our dog run round the garden.

We are looking forward to another visit !!!

It was beautiful, we had a lovely break - very comfortable and clean.

Peaceful, secluded setting and a 30 minute drive from everywhere we wanted to visit. The Sykes info didn’t specify what was included so we took some basic items with us which we didn’t need as everything was provided (hairdryer, fan, a pot and pan, tea towel and fairy liquid kind of bits and pieces). There was mention of a microwave in the information pack in the hut but we didn’t find one. Would definitely recommend.

The property was well-appointed and had everything we would need.

It was peaceful and private and comfortable. Directions were easy to follow. The little garden was a bonus and great that it was secure for our dog.

Utopia definitely lived up to its name!

It's situated in such a peaceful setting, yet well within reach of our day trip destinations like Southwold, Aldeburgh and Dunwich Heath. The hut was perfectly sized, well equipped and very clean and comfortable - a really lovely place to stay in for our relaxing holiday in Suffolk. The welcome goodies and note made us feel very much at home, and we will be booking again, I'm sure, as well as recommending to family and friends. Thank you Diana and Andrew, a truly lovely place :)

It is a lovely cottage with a beautiful garden.

Very isolated, which suited us completely! Great facilities, comfortable bed and we really enjoyed our stay! Some lovely pubs/restaurants within 20-25 mins drive.

A really lovely property - good quality fixtures and fittings in a truly stunning location.

Although we didn't have the best weather we still had a lovely time away. The location makes this the prefect place to get away from it all and relax. TV reception is excellent as is the wifi. There's also a full size gas BBQ in the garden. Diana left us some lovely treats in the fridge which was very much appreciated - thank you! Would definitely recommend this place especially for a romantic break and would happily return - hopefully with better weather next time!

Utopia is a secluded hidden gem ideal for relaxing in the countryside with everything you could possibly want in a quality shepherds hut.

The secure garden was ideal for the dog to explore at will. Lovely friendly owners, very clean with a comfortable bed, an ideal quiet country escape, highly recommended 10 out of 10

Utopia was sooooo relaxing, very quiet in it's own secure grounds which were beautifully done.

The owner was very helpful who had left a lovely welcome pack which was very much appreciated. My dog loved playing in the garden while I was reading on the garden lounger. Everything that you needed to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

We arrived and as soon as we put the key into the garden gate and saw a lovley enclosed garden with a large water feature to compliment the outside seating areas.

Our dog loved being able to be off lead. The shepherds hut is beautifully fitted out with qualilty items throughout. This was our first shepherds hut having been motorhomers for many years. Diane was an excellent host leaving a welcome basket of goodies on our arrival, we reccomend Utopia we are sure you will not be disappointed, we would book along weekend in the future for a chilled break.

The most peaceful, idyllic location imaginable, topped off by three days of glorious weather.

The shepherd's hut was perfect in every way. Diana was the ideal host - always available if needed, but not at all intrusive. We acted on her recommendations of where to go and were delighted with all of them. If you are looking for a lovely, romantic getaway you would have to go a long way to better this. Very highly recommended.

What a perfect place to go for peace and quiet.

We have never stayed in a Shepherds hut before but will certainly do it again..it is so compact and cosy with a really comfy bed, a little log burner and well equipped kitchen. I must say thank you to Diana for the super basket of very tasty treats and Prosecco. I thought that was a really kind gesture

Utopia was delightful - the grounds were beautiful and hut was spacious and well designed and very comfortable - everything you could possibly need was provided and Diana was the perfect host.

I especially enjoyed the water feature and spent hours sitting in the garden listening to the birds - great location and the welcome manual gave great tips on days out and things to do. A lovely welcome hamper. Easy to find. Was able to relax with no intrusions apart from a daily visit from Bom Bom the lovely cat. Utopia has a magical feel about it and having spent 4 nights here left feeling not only relaxed but also energised . Best shepherds hut I have ever stayed in and would highly recommend. Will definitely return.

What a lovely place to stay!

Extremely well equipped spacious shepherds hut, warm and inviting with welcome basket of goodies provided. Plenty of hot water, quality towels and bed linen all readily available. Good WiFi signal if needed. Beautiful little log burner for chilly evenings with enough logs to keep you toasty inside. Helpful but not intrusive host with great communication from start to finish. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Everything I hoped for and more If you love a shepherd's hut, you will be no stranger to compromise.

Not here!! From the double barn door entrance, the big comfy bed, full size breakfast bar, oven and fridge, to the underfloor heating, radiators, hot shower and big fluffy towels, everything is superbly thought out. The ample, fully enclosed garden is perfect for dogs, the view is beautiful and the remote, peaceful location is idyllic. The welcome hampers are always a lovely touch and at Utopia I found it was exceptionally generous. I spent a week here working and relaxing in equal measure. The WiFi and phone signal is super reliable. I even logged in to my Netflix account for a cosy movie in bed on the swivel mounted tv. Freshingfield dog park is just a 12- minute drive away if you need an enclosed space to wear your canine companion out, off lead. A great winter get away from the hustle of everyday life and I would love to return in the spring/summer without the work laptop, to explore the area on foot. In summary and in comparison to my experience of similar properties, Utopia is a cut above.

We had a lovely New Years break at Utopia.

A very high standard tastefully furnished hut with everything thought of for a comfortable stay, including a lovely welcome pack which was very well received! The log burner was a perfect addition with the weather being on the chilly side and the bed was so comfy. All in alll a perfect little haven!

The cabin was lovely and where it is out in the country the bed was a hard and uncomfortable but that was about it

Our 3 night break at Utopia was wonderful!

This lovely, clean shepherd’s hut is packed with all the facilities for a luxury stay… a big comfy bed, sofa, fridge, oven, hob, shower, fluffy towels… but for my husband and I, the best part was being able to have the double doors open onto the private garden and drink coffee in the countryside! Utopia proved to be the perfect escape from the stresses of everyday life. I hope next time we come, it’ll be cold enough to use the wood burning stove!

Last minute booking and the accommodation was exactly as described - only better!

What a beautiful place to stay we loved Utopia .

All needs have been thought of and everything felt very luxurious and the bed was soo comfortable (ample room for my 6ft+ partner ) I loved the garden just chilling on the sunbed . Can’t wait to return.

We wanted a few days break away from our hectic life’s and utopia didn’t disappoint.

Location is great, very peaceful but not too far away to go explore the area. The accommodation is comfortable and has everything you need for a brilliant peaceful stay. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return to this beautiful place.

With a very comfortable king size bed. Oven hob and barbecue everything was very nicely done with a wood burner for cooler evenings A lovely garden to sit in and being miles from anywhere it is so peaceful and private Would definitely recommend to anyone needing to just chill

We enjoyed our stay at the Shepherds hut very much It is so well equipped and comfortable that although the weather turned cold we were warm and cosy inside The owner is easily contactable and happy to ensure we had all we needed including a very nice welcome pack .

The hut stands in its own garden and only the sound of birds singing wakes you up .We had a lovely week exploring the area and great meals in the local pubs .I will recommend it to my friends and to anyone who wants to slow down and just take it easy .

After a stressful few months this was just the place to unwind and relax.

The Shepherds Hut is idyllic. I could Quite happily have stayed forever. The tranquil gardens were the icing on the cake. Such a peaceful location but close enough to Southwold, Framlingham and Halesworth. Our hosts were lovely. We had a lovely welcome basket and a warm Welcome came in a personalised card. I really loved that our privacy was respected, no contact but Diana was there if needed. I cannot recommend UTOPIA highly enough. I would happily return and was so happy with it that I told my daughter all about it and she booked herself a weekend immediately! If you’re looking for a peaceful Break with your own space (I’m sure the garden is a beautiful haven in the summer) this is the place to be! Thank you Diana, we will return!

We had a magical few days' escape in blissful peace in this luxurious, self-contained Shepherd's Hut.

Everything had been thought of for our comfort and ease and we were made very welcome, with treats on our arrival and a gentle but unobtrusive offer of further help if we needed any - which we didn't! The hut is beautifully designed right down to tiny artistic details, and with privacy and relaxation in mind. There are lovely walks right out from the door, and the coast is not far. We hope to come back soon!

Utopia provides a very well appointed private space where you can relax in pretty much total privacy.

Andrew and Diana have thought of near enough everything you will need. The garden is an additional great space to unwind. We hope to visit again when we can. Alan and Christine, Cornwall.

Utopia is the best place we have ever stayed.

It's so secure and enclosed for our nervous dog and it was so nice to stay somewhere where we didn't have to constantly watch her or have her on lead for fears of her getting out. Diana is so lovely and welcoming despite only booking the night before arrival and we arrived to prosecco and snacks. The shepherds hut is so cozy and clean not to mention extremely well equipped. It's also much more spacious than I thought it would be. I honestly cannot fault anything it was so perfect for our last minute valentines get away. We really appreciate finding a place to stay that not just allows dogs but is practical and suitable for dogs staying. We will absolutely be coming back soon.
