Shepherds Pightle

A lovely stay and idyllic location for a getaway.

The Shepherds Pightle is a delightful little space, very cosy and has everything you need. Great location for exploring some lovely walks without needing to drive anywhere. Only slight issue was we seemed to be plagued with ladybirds inside the hut, probably just time of year, but we had to 'remove' a large number over the few days we were there.

Such a lovely secluded place but only 10 minutes from the village and pub.

We were thrilled to find the barbi all set up and ready. We and the dog absolutely loved it.

Very enjoyable, very clean and comfortable, deer walked past early morning.

Sat next to Fire pit late at night torch etc supplied very thoughtful

Lovely stay,everything we needed ,easy walk to the village,recommend the Shepherd and dog pub and a visit to the Suffolk punch trust both easy walking .

perhaps as someone else said a couple of more comfortable chairs .we took our own.check the bed height if you are not as active as you once were.no TV or wi fi but 4g is fine. If you want peace and quiet and beautiful sunsets,try it ,you won’t be disappointed

Beautiful cosy Shepherds Hut, well equipped and in a peaceful idyllic location.

Village shop and pub only a short walk away. Great for wildlife right on the doorstep.

Comfy, quirky and quiet, a lovely shepherd's hut.

First one I have stayed in and won't be the last. Very clean and nicely decorated. So warm either with the thermostat or with the wood burner. Easy to use double hob and lovely hot shower . Yes you have to be agile to get in and out of bed but that just added to the character of the hut. Owners thoughtfully provided milk in the fridge and other nice bits to nibble and drink. Also so much to explore in this part of Suffolk. If ever back in the area would rebook.

Enjoyed my stay in this lovely little hideaway in a beautiful part of the world.

.only suggestion would be an upgrade to the folding chairs to bring a bit more comfort while sitting having your morning coffee.. thanks..

It’s a lovely, well designed but compact shepherd’s hut.

It was warm while we were there but I imagine it would be cosy in colder weather. Beautiful location too, and handy for many of Suffolk’s sights, pubs, towns, beaches etc.

Cosy hut in a gorgeous, secluded setting, perfect for exploring this part of Suffolk.

Lots of lovely touches - the fire pit and BBQ were ready to go! - and it felt like everything was thought of. The dog loved having the big field on her doorstep. Just be sure to pack insect repellant, as the setting comes with the downsides of nature as well as the upsides!
