We had a lovely long weekend and were very lucky with the warm, sunny weather, which meant we could spend most of our time outside.

The cottage was smaller than we expected, particularly the bedroom, and with two adults and a dog it would have felt quite cramped had the weather not been so good. There was very little storage for clothes, and the bedside tables couldn’t really be used due to their position. The indoor dining space was also very limited, with only a small fold-down table. We also found the area under the bed needed a more thorough clean. The outdoor space, however, was fantastic and really made our stay. There was a lovely covered seating area, plenty of outdoor furniture and a large hot tub, which looked very inviting. The garden was particularly wonderful for our dog, with lots of space and a lovely wooded area to explore. The public footpath through the garden was also great for walks. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, mainly because of the beautiful garden and excellent outdoor space.

The exterior was realy nice, beautful garden, patio etc, but the interior was very small / narrow: there is no dining table, limited kitchen equipement, no dishes for saled etc.

During days with good weather however, the picnic table on the terrace is nice. Great place if you like hiking. It is a real nice place during summer, but during rainy or cold days when you have to stay inside, it is too small. Very good bathing room. Unfortunately the landlord never showed up to welcome us and to shake hands.
