Perfect little get away!

The Filbert pod gave us everything we were looking for. Located in a secluded location but not far from Arundel the pod was spacious and immaculately clean with all the things we required! The owners were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The hot tub was wonderful and everything was perfect. Thank you :@)

The pod was of very high spec. The hot tub was a great addition. A great little fenced off garden all around the pod ideal for our little dog to go in. The owners Pauline and Paul have made the pod a great place to stay and were very helpful but left you alone to enjoy your time away.

Owners are extremely welcoming and helpful to any requests you may have.

We had the best weekend.

The little treats when we arrived was an added extra and made it more special. The bed was comfy, the sofa a little uncomfortable. The setting is beautiful and the hot tub was divine. Very clean every tidy accommodation. The only suggestion I would have is somewhere under cover to put your towel by the hot tub as it was damp and chilly due to the time of the year. A perfect stay that we would recommend to anyone and would love to come back again.

This really is a lovely place for a break.

Super comfy bed, very clean and had everything you would need. The hot tub was really lovely and being surrounded by countryside was just what we needed. Lovely touches, home made jam, gin and a bottle of Prosecco is very thoughtful and appreciated. Would come back any time.

Perfect private get away, owners are lovely and polite, gorgeous site seeing around.

We had a lovely minibreak at Filbert Pod recently.

The pod was absolutely perfect - clean, comfortable and very cosy. Included was everything we needed for a couple of nights' stay. Even toiletries were available in the shower room. We especially appreciated the welcome gifts including a lovely bottle of bubbly. We had a relaxing time in the hot tub one evening. Although there are two other pods on the site we felt very private thanks to a thoughtful layout and plenty of greenery to offer privacy. The whole area is beautiful and we felt relaxed and at ease in the countryside. We can thoroughly recommend Filbert Pod!

Fantastic stay, both Pauline and Paul were great hosts and very accommodating.

cooking facilities, TV and shower were all to high standard as was the bed which we found very comfortable. Pauline and Paul provided us with a small BBQ so we could eat outside one evening. Hot tub was great and just the right temperature. One small bit of advice would be to get a roller bar of system for taking off the Hot Tub cover as it very heavy which I discussed with the hosts. We loved the free Damson's and Plum's and will be making lots of Jam. Thank you for a lovely stay ;0}

This was a lovely little pod.

Very neat, clean, good quality appliances and utensils. Nice bedding. Well kept hot tub. The area was so peaceful and quiet. If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing holiday with nature in a great little area I highly recommend one of the pods on this farm.

Absolutely lovely couple of nights away with a good friend.

Little homely touches ( milk in the fridge, pot of jam and so little bottles of “Happy juice” ) made for a lovely welcome! Everything very clean and tidy. Little slippers, towels…. Just lovely. My dog didn’t want to leave. The hot tub was amazing. Perfect hosts…. Thanks Pauline and Paul. Ooh and for me the big bonus was meeting Mo the beautiful horse although he ignored me the day after when he was in the paddock…. Rude !

Filbert Pod is absolutely perfect, we spent a week there & did not want to leave.

It is cosy, comfortable, quiet. It felt spacious & was very well equipped to produce lovely ( Cook from the local Co op ! ) meals. Pauline & Paul are lovely hosts.

It was a lovely quiet location. The Pod itself was immaculate and little touches left to greet us was very appreciated and delicious! (homemade Blackberry Gin, Vodka & Jam). The hot tub was amazing. The hosts were friendly and left us alone. Will definitely go back highly recommend. Thank you!

Perfect design and in a beautiful setting.

The Pod is more than appropriate for 2 people to stay with everything you need to cook,store food and drink,comfortable bed and sofa and watch TV if ya like. Also Perfect bathroom with a refreshing shower and the Hot Tub is perfectly situated in privacy. The host Pauline is always available with a text with any help you need and is a lovely person. It's also a great place for exploring the area with Arundel Bognor Regis and Brighton to mention just a few close by. Thank you for a lovely break

We stayed here over the New Year and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

The pod had everything we needed, it was clean, comfortable, and super cosy in a beautiful setting. The hot tub was an added bonus too! Our hosts were exceptional and were very helpful and accommodating where possible. We’d definitely love to come back and would recommend this little hidden gem! Thank you :)

What an amazing site!

The owner was lovely, sending us a message on the evening of arrival to ensure we were happy with everything, welcome us into the ‘pod’ and letting us know to contact her at any point if there’s any issues. On arrival in the pod, we were greeted by some lovely homemade produce, including; Jam, Vodka and Gin. We were also left a bottle of Prosecco, a bottle of milk, a large bottle of washing up liquid with a sponge and cloth, shampoo, shower Gel, conditioner, body and hand lotion, 2 bars of soap, vanity kit, shower cap, a selection of biscuits, ice pre prepared in the freezer for us, a large range or different teas and coffees (great for me who loves a hot drink!!!), a selection of different hot chocolates, salt and pepper sachets as well as sugar and sweeteners… I think that was everything! The Pod was spotlessly clean which is quite something for us and we were left 4 soft towels as well. The hot tub was lovely and private from the other pods and the garden had been well maintained with plants and a recent lawn cutting as well. There’s a TV, microwave, Kettle, duel hob ring (electric or induction- not sure) toaster, and integrated under counter fridge and decent WiFi. There was plenty of crockery and glasses as well as plastic glasses for the hot tub. - We did unfortunately break one of the plastic glasses on our last day and felt extremely bad, we let the owner know via text and she was extremely understanding and told us not to worry about it. The bed was very comfortable as was the sofa and although a small property, the layout had clearly been thought about so that you weren’t constantly on-top of each other! The area is stunning with only a 10-15 min drive into the main part of Arundel with some lovely coffee shops and restaurants. On a side note: We would highly recommend The Swan Hotel for dinner with a carpark located behind (free from 6pm) the food was impeccable (Being a chef myself), the staff were lovely and they hold a Food Standards Agency hygiene rating of 5/5. We would very highly recommend Filbert Pod to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway near a lovely town near to Arundel, Bognor Regis and Chichester as well. Such a lovely place, so quiet and clean with fantastic facilities. Hosts were super friendly but not intrusive. Local amenities easily accessible by car.

We spent 3 nights at Filbert Pod.

The Pod was very well maintained, clean and fresh. There was some lovely complimentary food and drink. The hot tub was secluded and romantic. We were left to out own devises during our stay. However the owners were immediately on hand if we needed anything. My wife is plus size and everything was very size inclusive. Overall we can not fault anything and will definitely be going back.

We loved our stay in Filbert Pod!

The occasion was our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed! Pauline and Paul made it very special for us. Everything we needed was provided in the Pod and the hot tub was just amazing being tagged behind the Pod. The location is very peaceful which felt very inviting. We definitely can recommend this accommodation and would love to stay there again. Thank you Pauline and Paul!

The pod is in a nice quiet rural location and it was very well maintained and clean.

pauline and paul are very welcoming and friendly and a nice surprise with a bottle of procecco and homemade blackberry gin, vodka and jam. Then the bonus of a hottub to the rear of the pod overall highly recommended.

I hired the pod out for me and my girlfriend for her birthday and we couldn't have asked for anything better the pod was so clean and tidy when we walked in, the hot tub was clean and easy to work, also in a lovely area and the property owners are nice and responsive when you have problems, would highly recommend

What a fantastic place!

I cannot fault it at all. The decor of the pod is so cute and gorgeous. There were so many lovely little touches that really made our short stay something special. And the hot tub was the cherry on top. We briefly met Pauline and she is super friendly and helpful :) Thank you :) If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

The Pod was ideal for Freddie (the Dachshund) and me and I will certainly book again when visiting the area.

The pod is in a beautiful setting, peaceful and has a well maintained hot tub.

The owners are friendly, helpful and charming. It is great to have on site parking. There are lots of thoughtful touches such as home made jam, prosecco and other goodies. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to put a 'mind your head' sign at the entrance to the pod so that taller guests don't bump their heads.

We had a fabulous stay at Filbert Pod.

The owner Pauline and her husband were very welcoming and left initial hamper package for us. The hot tub was lovely and although the farm is on the edge of the village(shops within easy walking distance- Coop, pharmacy, butchers and chippy!) you would think you were out in the countryside. We saw lots of rabbits and even fox cubs. Would highly recommend

Our stay at the Filbert Pod was so relaxed.

We were seriously impressed by the cleanliness of the property when we arrived. Everything looked unused! Pauline and Paul were brilliant hosts, quickly fixing the WiFi connection when we couldn't access it. They were extremely helpful and attentive but didn't interfere with our stay. The hot tub was an added bonus too and we used it every day - even in the rain! Would highly recommend staying here and we would love to come back.

Excellent accommodation for a few days away.

Pauline was extremely welcoming and checked all was OK throughout stay without being intrusive. The pod contained everything we needed and more. We were welcomed with milk, jam, flavoured gin, vodka and procecco. The tub was at temperature throughout so we could relax at the end of each day.

The owners were really helpful as well as my car battery decided to die! They went out of their way to come out with jump leads etc, thank you so much! Beautiful surroundings. Me and my partner stayed here for a long weekend away to relax as she is giving birth next month.

It is everything we wanted and more. Beautiful place and the pod was spot on! Extremely comfortable and worth every penny. We have been back a few days and have already Recommended it to friends and family! Unfortunately we did not meet the owners however they messaged us and assured us that if we needed them for anything we can contact them! It was perfect. Thank you Paul & Pauline. Hope to stay again in the near future!

Really lovely property.

Spotless clean. Nice touches, like the Prosecco in the fridge!

Enjoyed a lovely few days to celebrate my husband’s birthday.

Filbert pod was really lovely with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. There were lots of thoughtful little extras too including a cold bottle of fizz waiting for us. The hot tub was incredible and totally private. We enjoyed walks on the beach and visited local pubs. The spit and sawdust pub in Burnham looks a bit shabby and we weren’t going to bother but glad we did. It was particularly welcoming and we had a lovely hour of playing board games there and chatting with the friendly locals (we didn’t eat there so not sure about the food). We met the lovely Pauline who was very friendly and gave us lots of tips on where to go. Would highly recommend. If I could change one thing, it would be for a more secure fence to make it easier to keep our dog in. She could easily get under the fence and we didn’t want her to bother the horses (although it does state clearly that the fence isn’t completely dog secure it would make for a more relaxing stay). Despite this, we highly recommend and would love to come back one day.

Our stay at Filbert Pod was exceptional, the pod is comfortable, clean, and well laid out.

We used the hot tub every night during our stay, and this made our short break even more relaxing. The site is well placed to allow access to many places of interest in the surrounding area, it is also quiet and secluded, so if privacy is a factor that is to be considered when booking a place to stay in the area you need look no further than Filbert Pod. Pauline, our host met us on our arrival and was kind and considerate. A welcome pack was included in the pod which added to the personal touches that made an enormous difference to our stay. We would highly recommend Filbert Pod and will be staying here again in the future.

We loved our time, staying in the Filbert pod!

We were celebrating my partners birthday and spent three nights here. The location was perfect with so much to do. We had a day trip to Brighton and had a lovely walk around the Arundel Castle. One our last day we were lucky enough to meet Pauline and thank her personally for a wonderful time. We would love to come back again in the future.

A lovely break for us despite the weather.

The pod was beautifully furnished and a lot of thought and care had gone into the interior and exterior. Lovely quiet location and our own private area around the pod with a little fence and a gate. The hot tub was a real treat, thoughtfully positioned and secluded. Pauline was extremely welcoming and caring but not intrusive so exactly what we wanted. We felt very welcome and would definitely recommend this pod to others wanting a quiet, cosy break.

We were pleasantly surprised how big it was, home from home comfort. They had furnished it with everything you need. Nice and quiet area, only horses for neighbours . We used the hot tub as soon as we arrived and continued to use throughout our stay. I would suggest maybe a non slip mat underneath the steps as you enter the tub, as they slip away from you .Loved the little gifts like blackberry jam, prosecco , milk, blackberry vodka & gin which was lush, overall a perfect weekend stay.

If you are looking at this pod to book,but haven't yet,then get it booked,its amazing and so so peaceful.

It's about 35 mins from everywhere with a train staion a mile away.The pod is sooo good and with the hot tub,for those lazy nights,its a must,,,just book it and you wont regret it..

Absolutely loved this pod, I wouldn't change a thing, it was clean, comfortable, the hot tub was great, the little extras like the jam, milk, vodka, gin and prosecco were really appreciated and such a lovely gesture.

My wife and I felt that we needed a relaxing break for a few days and this more than fitted the bill.

Lovely quiet location, very relaxed with great facilities,especially the hot tub. Thank you Pauline and Paul for making us feel welcome and providing a super holiday experience ,also the lovely treats of blackberry gin,vodka and jam .Also the Prosecco and milk in the fridge was much appreciated.

The property was lovely and clean well stocked to make a tea or coffee and enjoy it on the table outside.

Pauline even adds a bottle of Prosecco to enjoy. She also adds her homemade blackberry gin and vodka it is definitely worth to try it was lovely. Pauline was so welcoming and very helpful if you needed anything or information on what’s going on around the area. Couldn’t recommend a place to have a getaway in it’s absolutely beautiful and lovely and quiet. Will definitely be looking to book here again in the future. The jacuzzi was lovely and warm ready for us when we arrived it’s one of the best places I have stayed in.

The Pod was fabulous! More than we could have imagined, & memories made to make us smile for a long time to come. Prosecco, homemade Gin & chocolates to welcome you, warmth & kindness from Pauline & Paul. Clean, cosy, peaceful; equipped with everything you could want & need. We wouldn't hesitate to book again! The hot tub was the icing on the cake, relaxing by day, romantic by night. Note to all guests.. respect is key for all to enjoy this!! For future guests, the rules are there for a purpose. What a lovely stay it was.

It was our short honeymoon after 2 weddings in a month. Pod is beautiful, homey, very quiet and private. Hot tub was great way to take our pain and soreness away. We were greated with Paul and Pauline who were helpful and hospitable. It was a total surprise to find a bottle of Champagne, chocolate and delicious fresh milk, which we had to ask for 1 more. Yummy. So highly recommend Filbert pod if you want to run away from a busy city or if you want to recharge your batteries.

Just returned from a 4 night stay and couldn't fault the place at all.

Beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, lots of thought have gone into these pods, everything you need and the added welcome gifts were lovely! The hot tub was an added bonus after long walks, private with pretty lights, very relaxing. Plenty of lovely walks and places to eat. Loved seeing the horses go out in the mornings

This was our first break away with our young dog and we must say we absolutely loved it.

Weather was on our side, which made our break very relaxing and more enjoyable. Very clean, central to lots of beautiful walks, beaches and pubs. Pauline and Paul were absolutely brilliant hosts, made us feel very welcome, very friendly, happy to help stop and chat. Will miss seeing them in the morning with their dogs and beautiful horses. The pods are very compact, everything we needed and more. Pauline and Paul were very generous with welcoming gifts, which I must say were very lovely. Couldn't fault our beautiful stay, hoping to stay again in the near future. Massive thank you Pauline and paul. Keep up the good work.

!!! The pod itself was beautiful!! A rustic vibe whilst being modern and homely. Hottub was clean, very well maintained and modern. The ground were beautiful and very well kept. Beautiful unexpected welcome gifts such as home made gin, jam, slippers and a large bottle of Prosecco!!! Lovely hosts also ! Will be visiting again and will recommend wholeheartedly!!! All of this for a very good price ! Can’t go wrong and would recommend for all !!

A lovely place to stay.

The hosts were very attentive keeping the hot tub well maintained during my stay and Pauline sent me a welcome message upon my arrival and also checked later in the week if I needed fresh towels or anything else . Lovely bottle of bubbly and milk in the fridge when I arrived and some homemade goodies. The lights around the hot tub made for a perfect way to end the day. I don't drive and had no issues getting about as although the pods are in a rural setting there is a bus stop only five minutes away where you can get to Littlehampton in only 11 minutes and frequent services to Chichester and Bognor. I would definitely recommend as a place to relax and unwind and the property is maintained to a high standard.

The only thing missing is an oven but that’s only a nice to have and me being picky!

But fantastic place to stay, lovely area, very peaceful and perfect if you want a little break away from everyday life :)

Really lovely little getaway.

Very generous gifts left upon arrival (homemade spirits, jam, Prosecco in the fridge), toiletries etc. Comfy bed, and high quality, private cabin. Amazing hot tub that is very private for Filbert Pod. Enjoyed saying hello to the two resident horses too. Would thoroughly recommend.

The pod was very clean, well designed and well equipped.

There were lots of thoughtful extras provided, including homemade gin, Prosecco, coffee bags, biscuits, milk jam etc. Thank you for these, they were much appreciated. The key safe system was very convenient and worked well on arrival and departure. The bed could do with a fitted sheet, as the plasticised mattress protector made it slippy, meaning that the sheet came loose easily. The restricted access either side of the bed then made it difficult to remake the bed regularly. We weren’t 100% certain, but there may have been a leak in the bathroom, as water kept pooling on the floor around the base of the toilet. We tried to eliminate various sources such as drying towels and swimming costumes, but it still kept happening. It was extremely wet weather during our stay, which may not have helped. The hot tub was very private and not overlooked, which was lovely. Unfortunately owing to the wet and windy weather, we only used it once. We also couldn’t locate the controls to make the jets work, but we should have read the instructions before climbing in! However, maybe a sign on the back wall of the pod itself indicating what to press might help future clueless users like ourselves! The Sykes Cottages listing should make it clearer that there are three pods near to each other on the same site. The other two pods were luckily vacant when we stayed, but we would have felt encroached upon if they had been let whilst we were staying. We also had imagined a rather more remote and picturesque setting on the farm, instead of being next door to a riding corral and manure pile within a fairly compact site and a town setting, which made for some unpleasant smells. However, these were minor concerns during our stay given that the other pods were vacant. But for future reference would be an important consideration.

My husband and I could not have asked for a more perfect place in which to escape to the country.

The Filbert Pod was just wonderful and so super cosy! We had everything we needed & the arrival gifts of home made gin & jam, as well as a chilled bottle of Prosecco were such thoughtful touches. The hot tub was a welcome treat & the location of the pod itself was ideal for travelling to other beautiful parts of West Sussex. We would highly recommend a stay here to friends & family. We had such a lovely stay in the cabin and would definitely go back again. We took our puppy and he absolutely loved it! Pauline pulled out all the stops and put some personal touches into the cabin, may I add they make the most beautiful home made blackberry gin and jam! We have just spent a week staying in the Filbert pod and have had one of the most relaxing holidays we have had in along time.

The pod was well presented with a welcome pack left by the owners which included a bottle of prosecco very enjoyable, the hot tub was great and we used it quite a lot both morning and evening. The owners are a lovely couple who are interested in the people who use their property. I would thoroughly recommend the pods to anyone wanting a peaceful relaxing holiday and will be booking again for next year 10/10.

I text the pos owners a few days before to say we where coming on honeymoon & to check if we needed to bring anything. The owners where polite & quick to respond. A lovely personal touch in the pod was- their own homemade jam & gin. Bottle of cold bubbly & - jar of milk. As well as chocolates on the bed congratulating us on getting married. One word AMAZING. Please book the pod for a honeymoon, do not hesitate. We where there for a week & felt we could have stayed longer & you could comfortably live in one. The owners where lovely. Seeing the farm animals was special too. Thank You

The pods are perfect little retreats to Forget everything and the hot tub Was a perfect way to relax. The pod is very well equipped and fitted out ti a very high standard. Felt very welcoming by the owners. Will definitely revisit in the future

Filbert Pod was well equipped, comfortable and ideal for our holiday.

The hot tub was a nice addition to the mix. Very happy to recommend to others and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Can't remember being so relaxed!

! Pauline & Paul made us very, very welcome. We found home-made jam & gin and a bottle of bubbles waiting for us. The pod was very homely and really comfortable, it had everything we needed. ( including a large hot tub at the back of the pod) There are many beautiful areas to explore nearby, Bosham harbour is beautiful and there is a wonderful ice cream parlour in the picturesque town of Arundel. The Black Rabbit pub in Arundel is set on the river and is a lovely place to go for lunch. Would definitely return to this pod and hope to do so in the not too distant future.

Perfect for our mini moon!

We had a lovely relaxing stay, makes a nice change to have sharp knives and non stick pans that don’t stick, the attention to detail was good and the owners helpful and friendly.

Had a lovely 3 night stay in the Filbert Pod, spent most of it in the hot tub.

As parents of 4 and a busy family business we definitely needed the break and time to recuperate. We came home so relaxed, would definitely go back. We didn’t meet Paul but Pauline was a very nice lady. You won’t be disappointed x

Pauline was the most welcoming of hosts, she has made the pod wonderfully comfortable and cosy.

The surroundings were so relaxing and there are loads of places to visit within a short drive or leisurely walk. Fantastic little place to visit

Its a magical place quiet clean relaxing and homely got everything you need for a nice break away nothing is to much trouble for the owners ,loads of places to go out for the day within a half hour drive will be going back no problem oh plus we had a hot tub which was very nice all in all perfect
