Really enjoyed our stay.

Great lodge and excellent location.We got a nightly visit from a Pine Martin. Brilliant.The owner was around but not at all intrusive which is perfect for us.We would love to return.

Great place to stay.

Only a couple of minor things that need fixing. Slightly leaking tap in the kitchen and new rubber seal in sink plug in bathroom otherwise everything was terrific

Just spent a lovely week in Pebbles Cottage with amazing views over the Loch.

The outside covered space with seating was great as the weather was hot (21c) and it provided us with shade during the midday heat. The owners dog, Jura, would visit every day and we had a lot fun playing out on the front grassed area with the dog and her toys. The Cottage was very clean and tidy and the walk in shower was lovely. Plenty of walks around the area and the drive up to Strathconon on Sunday morning was breath taking with lovely scenery. We were a family of 4 with one of my son in a wheelchair.

We had a good time at Pebbles cottage. The location was great, along the scenic Loch Achilty. The access into the cottage was slightly difficult for a wheelchair, but the cottage is not designed or advertised as a Wheelchair friendly one, however we liked the location so decided to go for it and managed. The property was in clean condition, the owner was very friendly and welcoming and gave us very useful suggestions about local areas to explore. She was quick to respond to anything we needed. Property is a great location for people with interest in fishing, and water adventure and for walking and exploring nature. Cottage did had some minor maintenance issues and kitchenware needs up keeping. As there were lot of dogs of guests as well as the owner around, when we visited, we had to cope up with the occasional dog mess, which could be helped with some gentle reminders for the guests to keep the lawn clean. Overall, we had a good time and would recommend.

Lovely property in an ideal location for exploring the Highlands

Very comfortable, nice and quiet, well equipped (and everything worked).

Mrs Rose and Mrs Smith were very friendly and the location is an excellent base. The only minus was lack of mobile phone reception (although some may see that as an advantage

We appreciate quiet area and as one of adults has bad back, everything on the flat helps Made vey welcome

Absolutely fabulous accommodation and ideally situated for exploring the local area.

Lots of walks and cycling from the doorstep. We had a brilliant time and will definitely be returning

Fabulous location, nice property.

Owner very friendly. Kitchen equipment sparse. Second bedroom was a little damp as it probably had not been used prior to our week. However I love the place and the location and will certainly be back.

Lovely cottage in quiet surroundings.

Lady who owned cottage was very friendly. Cottage had everything you could need. Just a shame we had to leave early.

Owners were extremely friendly and helpful, we had use of the rowing boats and very much enjoyed the loch opposite.

Great location and wonderful host, would definitely consider returning again.

Very relaxing and super nice people running the park

The cottage is located on the shores of the beatifull lake Achilty and provides excellent base to explore North West Highlands.

The place is clean and well equiped. The communication with the owners was easy and we have received very warm welcome. Highly recomend and will definitely stay again.

Fantastic place, isolated next to a loch with lovely walks, I'm disabled and the walk's around the Loch was 90% on road , owner was very helpful,made the stay perfect,we will be definitely back hope to get photos of Deer in the snow next time

Piece and quiet, great surroundings and places to visit on the doorstep

The cottage is in a great location for visiting many scenic sites and is well located for some good hikes.

It’s situation is rural but close enough to Dingwall and Strathpeffer if you need a supermarket or fancy a coffee, lunch or evening meal at the deli cafe in Strathpeffer. We had a great Staycation here and would recommend this cottage and its location. The WiFi works well and the facilities are comfortable and adequate.

We had fantastic holiday.

Great setting right beside the loch. The kids spent hours swimming and playing in the loch and the grass area just outside the cottage. The owners were lovely and let us borrow their paddle board, bike and rowing boat. Would definitely go back again.

Pebbles Cottage was perfect!

It was clean, comfortable and cozy for me, my two children and dog. The location by the loch cannot be underestimated, it truly is stunning. Mrs Rose is great. She made sure we had everything we needed and nothing was any trouble for her. If you're looking for a peaceful break in a beautiful setting, I can't recommend this place enough.

Mrs Rose a very nice lady very helpful , and her dog checked morning & night to make sure we were ok .

Its a lovely quiet place I would go back .

My friends and I found this spot while looking for a quiet place for a few days break.

. and we were all more than satisfied, the owner were very lovely and kind people. Will be staying here everytime we travel to Inverness area. Thank you so much for a more than perfect stay!

Make sure you take a good stock of supplies with you,if you run out of something you will be better off travelling the extra distance to Strathpeffer as the local general store in Contin is extortionate.

Lack of shelving in the bathroom.

No shaving point. Very cramped kitchen. Storage areas needed. No DVD player as stated. I would suggest that the hot water needs looking at. Far to hot and no warning of this above the sinks.

I would like to say we were delighted with the facilities at the cottage, the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful.

The setting of the cottage in front of loch was wonderful, the site was kept clean and tidy, we would recommend these cottages to anyone every thing was just perfect for us. Alex & Mary Stirling.

My Friend and I had a wonderful holiday riding our motorbikes in stunning scottish scenery & glorious sunshine.

The cabin provided the perfect location to stay giving us a choice of places to ride to. It's was clean comfy and well equipped apart from the bathroom which lacked shelves to put things on when washing or having a bath. The shower was ok but not very powerful. Parking was great for cars or motorbikes and we were made welcome on arrival & departure by the owners. Overall would highly recommend for a holiday.

Great location for touring the north of Scotland, lodge on a quiet single track road but close to the main road, lot of wild life to see.

Owners really nice and helpful and helped sort out an issue with toilet. Would recommend.
