Luing, a place I visit often, offers some great coastal views.

The WildLuing pods on the island’s east side look towards Torsa Island and beyond to Seil and Armaddy. From Cullipool on the west, you can enjoy sweeping vistas of Mull, Scarba and the Sound of Luing. And the ever-changing tides that rip and flow between the channels and numerous small islands add to the magic. Unlike some pods, the WildLuing units are spacious, well-designed and come with quality furnishings (even down to the fluffy John Lewis towels!) Self-catering is straightforward and sufficient, with an electric hob, oven, microwave and fridge. The Wi-Fi is reliable and good. Plus, there’s the simple joy of being on a small island, where you can walk, see wildlife and unwind—it makes for a wonderful place to visit.
