Wonderfully compact, equipped and well maintained pod in the most amazing landscape.

I could’ve stayed here for ever!!

Such a beautiful setting and view from the pod.

Clean, comfortable, owner was reachable. Felt very remote and as if actually experiencing living in the countryside. Extra bonus of cute animals surrounding the pod.

Mal hier. Es ist einfach perfekt und der schönste Platz der Insel. Alles sauber, Bodenheizung, WLAN, Nette , freundliche Vermieter. Wir kommen vielleicht wieder.

Great pod in the middle of nature surrounded by sheeps and rabbits.

Amazing experience! Only downside would be shower pressure on the lower side, but would still recommend with no hesitation.

Everything was perfect, from the location to the pod itself.

Wouldn’t change anything, my partner and I had the most wonderful time. Thank you!!

Wonderfully isolated

Absolutely amazing pod in a picturesque location with a great host - we would love to be back!

The pod was very clean and well appointed.

I particularly liked the shower room area - much larger than expected. The free samples were much appreciated. The underfloor heating very cosy. . The owners were very welcoming, and available for any queries. It was great to have linen, towels and energy costs included - unlike some pods we had stayed in. Everything we needed was there. It made the long journey there more manageable. I also liked that they tried to be as sustainable as possible - good principles. All in all a cosy haven. Would definitely recommend.

Amazingly compact use of space with excellent views with the sea in the distance. We had an excellent time.

Wonderful peaceful cozy spot surrounded by rolling hills and grazing sheep.

Lots of great hikes and walking trails within a short distance.

The pod is really well equipped and really warm despite the cold ,wet outdoors .

Catriona the owner checked in with us a couple of times to ensure we were happy and had everything we needed. She even left us some Guinness to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. Would totally recommend and we will go back again.

We felt very comfortable in this nice little holiday-home.

The view from there is magnificent and the total silence during the nighttimes let us sleep excellently.

This is my 3rd time staying at Garraidh Ghorm Pod and won't be my last.

Skye is an amazing place to visit anyway, and this pod is in a stunning and peaceful location! The owners are extremely helpful with anything you might need too. The pod itself has everything you need. Warm and cozy with all mod cons and a great view! Highly recommended.

The pod was in a beautiful location and was very comfortable and warn , catriona the owner was brilliant and always made sure we had what we needed .

The pod is at the very north of Skye and provides open vast views of fields and the ocean in the distance.

It’s so clean and sweet exactly as the pictures show. Skye is an island which is 100 miles in length. Regardless of where you stay it’s a drive. This location is charming and brings such peace. So many little amenities. We adored it !

So comfortable and cosy, everything supplied and even 4 fresh free range eggs from the hens in the fridge for us. It was great and I would recommend to anyone wishing to visit Skye.

The pod was so perfect for our stay, a luxury base to return to after our days exploring the island.

Extremely comfortable bed! Owners were very helpful with any queries we had and had left us a lot of information about the island, which helped us to plan our days. The pod itself is fully equipped with everything you might need. Stunning location, wonderful views. We would definitely recommend and hope to return some day.

A wonderful piece of Heaven in it's own mini wilderness with views out to the sea in front and mountains behind.

Garriadh Ghorm was the perfect cosy retreat we were looking for!

Not only did the pod exceed our expectations with all the little touches Catriona had left for us, but it was the perfect cosy retreat to sit after a day of exploring the island. We spent a week there and didn't get the best weather but that did not put us up or down as the underfloor heating worked a treat, the bed was beyond comfy (so good we overslepped a couple of days) and the little porch was a great shelter from the rain which meant we could sit wrapped in a blanket with a whiskey watching the sun go down or the storms come in. A trully magical little place that is secluded and peaceful. Catriona was the perfect host and on hand if we needed anything, however, everything we needed was already there which made our stay even more perfect.

Great location, Catriona very friendly, wifi telly handy for stormy evenings, will try and book again, loved it!

The complete isolation, not having other pods around you was wonderful.

The pod was superb and incredibly comfy.

Wonderful 4 nights on Skye in a pristine pod, in beautiful idilic but isolated location, ideal if you need to get away from the hustle and bussle.

Must add that the owner was extremely helpful to make our stay more accommodating and relaxing & enjoyable! PS Worth noting the WiFi/broadband service was excellent.

The peace and quiet

The pod was perfect for us, exactly as pictured and so clean and well thought out.

The location was also perfect, so close to lots of things to see and only 20 mins from a larger town. The host was lovely, so easy to communicate with and was very attentive to make sure we were comfortable. I’d mentioned to her that I was 30 weeks pregnant on our holiday and a fan was left at the door to help if I got too warm which was over and above expected. We would go back in a heart beat.

Fantastic location in the most dramatic landscape Skye has to offer. You get a feel for crofting life and we loved the privacy as, unlike many other pods, this pod is the only one at the site. Perfect to access fantastic walks such as Old Man of Storr and The Quiraing. Owners were really lovely and friendly but not at all intrusive. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We were blown away by the exceptional attention to detail in this quirky little pod.

Everything we needed was there and extras. We particularly liked the Bluetooth speaker system! The pod was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. Catriona and Peter were the perfect hosts, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They sent us a really informative email before our arrival date which is something we had never had before. The pod is compact but because it has been so well designed, still has loads of open space. All of the toiletries supplied are eco friendly and cruelty free, which to us, as vegans, was a lovely surprise. We even had soya milk in the fridge on arrival and some lovely toiletries to say sorry that they hadn't managed to get us vegan cookies! The area is fantastic, right at the top of Skye. We visited at the end of May so it didn't get really dark until midnight. Perfect for sitting out on the verandah with a glass of wine listening to the cuckoo and the sheep. Skye is a wonderful island. Must sees are the Quaraing, the Old Man of Storr, Fairy Pools, Fairy Glen, Staffin Beach and Dunvegan Castle, to name a few. We will definitely be back. Catriona and Peter, thank you for a perfect week.

We had a wonderful stay at Garraidh Ghorm Pod.

From the outset, Catriona was incredibly helpful – phoning ahead to give directions, ask if we needed anything, leaving lovely fresh eggs from their chickens. We felt very welcomed to the Pod before we even arrived. The Pod itself is lovely. Catriona has clearly put a great deal of thought into the design, layout and functionality of the Pod. It is spacious, with a very well equipped kitchen. The induction cooker was great to cook on. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were neat and well set out. The décor is thoughtful, tasteful and compliments the space perfectly. The unique selling point for us was the fact that the Pod is on its own. It is set in a spacious open garden, which Catriona and Peter are clearly investing in making into a lovely space, with lots of thoughtful environmental and wildlife-friendly touches. The peace and quiet was simply wonderful. We know that holiday Pods are becoming increasingly popular, and have seen a lot of sites with several together. The fact that Garraidh Ghorm Pod is on its own, with the space and privacy to enjoy the open space around it, with the hills behind and the view of the sea in front of the Pod, was wonderful. The setting is peaceful, with local crofts surrounding around you. The wildlife was excellent – the experience of seeing the buzzards perched just feet away from you was delightful. It is an easy stroll down to the sea along the lanes, and the spectacular marine mammal and bird-watching opportunities at Rubha Hunish are within walking distance. The Quiraing is a short drive away, and offers one of Scotland’s most iconic walking opportunities close by. I wholeheartedly recommend Garraidh Ghorm Pod to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing and comfortable retreat. Catriona could not be more helpful, and it was a wonderful holiday experience.

Amazing stay!

The pod is lovely, cozy and warm and has all the facilities you need for a lovely stay. We really enjoyed staying there and we strongly recommend! Isle of Skye is a wonderful place and the landscape is breathtaking.

The perfect escape from home working and life in general.

The pod is cosy and warm, in a lovely secluded spot and boasts an amazing view! It has everything you need, for any length of stay. Such a relaxing place to be and to start exploring from. Catriona was also incredibly helpful in returning some items that I had left behind. I will definitely be staying again, but for longer next time!

The location was just wonderful, surrounded by crofts and in a secluded part of Skye.
