Enjoy a spot of tea at the Bridge Centre Café, before you pop into The Good Food Boutique, a local deli selling artisanal foods and essentials for you to tuck into back at the cabin. Soak in nature with a calming walk along the Creed River, viewing majestic herons as they swoop and glide overhead.
Head on foot into Stornoway to take the dog for a walk around Lews Castle Grounds, brush up on history at the Museum & Tasglann nan Eilean, or even catch a live performance at the An Lanntair art centre. After a day spent walking, surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, wild swimming on the stunning hebridean beaches, warm up and increase your wellbeing in your very own in Cabin sauna or venture further with the help of a Brompton Bike hired from their lockers located in the town.

We had a lovely week here - it is the ideal spot from which to explore Stornoway itself and the Isle of Lewis.
We have a dog and it was a matter of minutes to leave the cottage and be walking along the river or exploring the grounds of Lews Castle. The sauna was the icing on the cake!
Lovely little place.
The sauna got good use and was a delightful addition. I didn't find the MOT garage next door to be a problem for noise. The location is great for walk's around the extensive castle grounds. As previously mentioned the shower room floor is tricky to dry. I found that leaving the door open helped and I dried the supplied flat mop against the towel rail between cleans which helped. I travelled with a tiny dog and he was able to get under the gate shown in the pictures into the neighbours/owner's? garden. This is an access gate for putting their bins out. Unknowingly, I blocked it but this was moved and he got under it again and was handed back to me like passing a baton by a man with few words. A simple board would fix this problem but be aware that access is through the garden. The horns above the radiator as you step in seemed like a brilliant hanging area for wet things but unfortunately they fell off the wall rather easily. I would have secured them properly if I had travelled with my tools. So other than a few minor maintenance issues, overall I had a really lovely time.
Fantastic location.
Great for walks around Lews Castle and the town centre. Parking easy. The cabin has great facilities and a private yard. Didn’t make use of the sauna but used it as a useful wardrobe!! Comfy bed and sofa. I would highly recommend Creed Cabin.
