Eala Bhàn Cottage

We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully presented home.

The space is thoughtfully designed and made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. Our host was welcoming and kindly shared some great recommendations for places to visit and explore in the local area, which we really appreciated. The property is in an excellent location for exploring the whole of Uist, making it the perfect base for our trip. We had such a magical and memorable stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the islands.

The cottage has everything you need, extremely well equipped. Lovely hosts on hand if you need anything. Will definitely go back and would highly recommend to others.

Well equipped with everything you need and a good sized garden ideal for a dog. We were met by the host ( who lives next door) who showed us around and was very welcoming. An ideal spot as a base for exploring the islands.

Perfect house for exploring the islands.

We’ve had a lovely stay, and Fiona has been brilliant making sure we had everything we needed. The house is great for a family of 4 and a dog. The kitchen has everything you need, there’s plenty of space, and the beds are comfortable. We would definitely recommend this house as a base for exploring.

A lovely wee cottage, warm, snug, well equipped, immaculate and in a great location for exploring.

We had a fab stay, cottage was lovely and owners lovely, big garden area for my dog.

Cottage we found was central in North Uist. Would have loved to stay longer but when I tried to book dates your site would only let me book 5 days.

There were plumbing issues.

The toilet leaked the entire time. The lights in the bathroom were out and not replaced even after notifying the owner. The outdoor clothes line had to be replace while we were there. Came right out of the ground.

Fiona and Neil were very welcoming hosts, and everything needed was provided. The cottage had a lovely kitchen and cozy bedrooms.

My family and I had a wonderful stay here and we were sad to leave.

The cottage location is brilliant for accessing other islands and exploring. Comfort and cleanliness very high, great facilities in kitchen and lovely decor throughout. We were always able to relax after a long day out exploring. Nice and spacy too with gorgeous peaceful views from garden. I loved having my morning coffee outside surrounded by nature and calm. Highly recommend and we will be rebooking when we next come to visit Uist. Hosts were very warm and welcoming and I know that if there were any issues (there wasn't) they would be dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Excellent holiday cottage and Neil is a very helpful host to ensure your stay is fun and goes smoothly.

Nature is on the doorstep with an otter spotted one morning swimming up the loch at the end of the garden and red deer in the fields next door one evening. Would definitely stay there again.
