A fab little home for our needs whilst attending a local event and in a gorgeous setting.

Very clean and comfortable lodge.

Very well equipped and with a view to die for. Enjoyed seeing all the wildlife around the lodge.

We enjoyed Manor lodge - a real feel of being in the countryside with excellent views and lots of visiting wildlife.

The lodge itself was very well equipped and very comfortable - plenty of room for the three of us. The location was rural and the roads too and from it were interesting but something which we enjoyed. Lots to do locally and a couple of good pubs within easy reach.

Comfortable place to sit, read and enjoy the views. Located within 30 to 60 minutes drive to many interesting attractions. Would use again.

Nice views and a comfortable lodge.

It would have been nice to have soft towels and not hard ones. Some milk left to make a cup of tea would also have been nice. Overall a nice quiet and relaxing stay.

This beautifully presented Lodge provided all we needed for a long weekend in the Salisbury area.

Our 12 year old grandson appreciated trying his hand at table tennis in the games room. 2 bathrooms for 4 of us was helpful and with a broken ankle I was grateful that the shower was level access. The stunning view from the living area was wonderful and being able to see all the stars in the night sky was a joy. All in all a lovely place to relax and appreciate the beauty of creation.

A beautiful cottage with fantastic views and in a beautiful area for walking and sightseeing, we would certainly book again and the only couple of small things were that the dustbins were outside of the ground floor bedroom window which isn’t very pleasant and it would have been nice to have either a few shrubs or plants by the entrance of the property.

A well-kept property in beautiful, peaceful surroundings.

An ideal location for visiting many nearby properties, including Salisbury Cathedral, a countryside museum, and the New Forest. There is plenty of parking space, and the property is well-equipped. In the mornings and evenings, pheasants and rabbits are usually visible on the lawn, accompanied by a wandering robot mower on other occasions. One of the best properties we have stayed in.

We have been to many self-catering venues, and while not being the traditional "cottage", Manor Farm Lodge was amongst the most comfortable, warm and well appointed ones for a Christmas get away.

Caroline was very welcoming and kept in touch throughout our stay. The Queen's Head in BowerChalke served excellent food and the Village Shop with coffee and cake proved a blessing after a chilly walk. The Ox Drove path up on BowerChalke Down was a good walk; with boots at this time of year! The whole area of Cranborne Chase is underrated but well worth exploring. Tony and Sue Gow Christmas 2024

We have stayed in many Sykes cottages over the years, but this was one of the best.

A beautifully comfortable place to rest and relax, peaceful, with a glorious view towards Cranbourne Chase. Caroline, the owner was so kind and helpful. It was a joy to find such a lovely place for a few days break.

Fabulous accommodation, extremely comfortable and very well equipped.

Set in lovely rural countryside, so very peaceful, but also perfectly located to discover all the area has to offer. Charming hosts and very helpful.

This is a lovely property in a beautiful tranquil location for a quiet break.

The lodge is very new, immaculately clean, and very well equipped. The owner provided thoughtful touches for our toddler including a playhouse and slide, which was very much appreciated. The only small downside is slightly low water pressure with not very hot water (even after we changed the gas bottle as instructed), but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Manor Farm Lodge is a delightful property, in a quiet beautiful setting, close to Salisbury and Wilton House.

The lodge is very clean, well equipped and the perfect destination for a relaxing weekend. Can not recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely beautiful lodge in beautiful peaceful surroundings with a fantastic view.

I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the cleanest lodge we have ever stayed in, it also exceptionally equipped with everything you could need. It was our first time in this part of England but won’t be the last, the lodge is very well placed for visiting Stonehenge and Salisbury. Thank you for what has been a lovely relaxing break, we will hopefully see you soon.

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside and abundance of wildlife.

Plenty of Hares and Montjac with lots of birdlife too! Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Colin and Linda.

The Lodge was very comfortable, all clean & tidy.

The views are just wonderful - as is the wildlife, a treat to see! It's a lovely peaceful place to spend a holiday. We hope to be back before long.

It is, in our experience, to find the holiday accommodation is precisely as described.

A lovely surprise and a most enjoyable few days. Situated very conveniently for visiting relatives and friends too.. We will certainly consider another short break in the future.

We enjoyed relaxing on the patio watching the wildlife and, later on, listening to the owls.

Well equiped kitchen. Very clean. Stayed with my two kids 8 and 4. Wonderful big garden for them to play. Beds really comfortable. View from patio and living room was of fields and hills beyond that. The garden was visited by deer and hares during our time there. Caroline the owner was really helpful, giving me a call a few weeks before and being responding quicly to a couple of small requests I made. Would love to stay again.

One of the best self-catering properties we’ve ever stayed in.

Wonderful rural position, spotlessly clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The separate games room table tennis occupied any spare moments and resident wildlife (hares in the garden) enchanted our grandchildren. Thank you for a lovely stay.
