“Granary Cottage is the nicest holiday cottage we have ever stayed at and we have visited quite a number.”

It has been beautifully renovated, the decoration is tasteful and elegant and the cottage is absolutely spotless. No expense has been spared and it shows. The setting and the host are what sets it apart from other accommodation. Peter was both friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is set in beautiful grounds with geese, peacocks and ostriches wandering around, not something one gets to experience normally. A lovely bottle of English wine awaited us along ...

The setting and the host are what sets it apart from other accommodation. Peter was both friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is set in beautiful grounds with geese, peacocks and ostriches wandering around, not something one gets to experience normally. A lovely bottle of English wine awaited us along with some essential provisions. Apart from bringing your own food, everything else is provided. It is only a short walk into Lacock where there are 2 lovely pubs and various independent shops and a post office. I cannot recommend Granary Cottage more highly, you will not be disappointed. We loved it so much that we revisited and have spent a total of 4 weeks there!
