Little Acre

A little difficult to find but once we arrived we were delighted with the location and the size of the area surrounding the Shepherds Hut.

It was well fenced in so secure for our 2 dogs. The shepherds hut was very comfortable with everything necessary for our stay, including tea bags, milk and chocolate biscuits. The bed was large and extremely comfortable with good quality bedding. A bonus was the bbq and everything needed for that, except food. The shelter was lovely with a table and benches and comfortable garden chairs. We did not make full use of these facilities as it rained most of the time we were there. If we visited again I would avoid Brow Road at all costs. Coming from the west my Sat Nav took me round Haworth up Brow Road which at the top is the junction of the Kieghly / Halifax main road. I believe even many locals avoid this road. Be aware, signage round this area is not good, follow directions given by the owner.

Absolutely stunning location and facilities , set in the heart of oxenhope less than a mile from the beautiful village of howarth, the view's and surroundings are stunning , Sarah the owner was a pleasure to deal with nothing was to much to ask for , her vast knowledge of the aerea especially the very good bars and quality restaurants ☺️☺️ , a short 3 day stay this time but will definitely be back , highly recommend, thank you for a great stay , lovely people.

Absolutely loved this place!

Snug yet well-equipped. Great, spacious outdoor space that was secure for our dog. A perfect little hideaway which is conveniently located for walks and day trips to Haworth and Hebden Bridge. Loved it!

We love this place!

I stayed here with my mam and pooch for the weekend and we loved it so much we have booked again for October this year. I’m really glad we have found this little paradise and we are definitely going to continue coming back! The photos don’t do it justice you are very secluded in your own little area, unlike a lot of other shepherds huts that say you are secluded but are actually right next to another one. Inside the shepherds hut was immaculate and well equipped for a short stay, the converted stable was also ideal for an evening of chess and need a bit of shelter. You also have the option of the pub / restaurant in the caravan park across the road it’s around a five minute walk and they have entertainment on a weekend, though we didn’t make it as we loved our Shepard’s hut so much…. Our dog also had the best holiday and can’t wait to come back! Sarah and her family should be very proud of what they have created.

I had a delightful 4-night stay at the shepherd's hut at Little Acre, a cosy and comfy little cabin which is surprisingly well-stocked with good storage space too.

The decor and layout of the hut is high quality and was very clean on arrival. Sarah the owner was also able to meet me to explain a few things with the property but otherwise everything was there and self-explanatory.

This was the perfect tonic we needed to relax and refresh.

Even Rodney our Malinois was more chilled than usual. Anyone looking for a peaceful escape, this is the place. Just a few paces and you're straight on the heather coated moors. There's also the option to visit the holiday park opposite for a meal or just a drink if the isolation is too much but we loved it. Thanks Sarah for a lovely break with peace, solitude and fantastic views. We will be returning at some point.

Had a lovely stay at Little Acre and first time in a shepherds hut.

It was very comfortable and all needs met. The views are fantastic. The arrival gifts the owner left were a lovely welcome to the start of my holiday. I also met the owner who is really nice. If I had a query was on hand to help and sort out. Little Acre went above and beyond to make sure I had a lovely week. It is a very good base to explore Bronte country. Even my four legged bestie had a good time.
