Really quiet in October but not sure about in summer when the pub’s beer garden is in use.
The pub car park holds 4 cars so when the pub is open it will be full although roadside parking was readily available. Comfortable bed but same can’t be said for the chairs. Only a microwave and a toaster so be prepared to eat out every day.
Lovely cosy lodge in a very peaceful garden right behind the pub.
Bed is really comfortable but the arm chairs are quite low so if you have problems getting up and down then not the best but we didn't have any problems. There is everything you need in the kitchen area for simple meals. Brilliant having the alpacas right outside. You are able to feed them. We found they loved carrots and the white one went mad for strawberries. Would definitely book again.
The cabin is small but didn't feel cramped.
It was good to have chairs and a coffee table so we didn't have to sit on the bed to read or watch tv. The cabin is behind the pub but we weren't disturbed by noise at all, in fact it was extremely quiet and peaceful. The weather was kind enough for us to be able to use the table and chairs on the decking to relax and watch the alpacas. It was also a useful space to store our bikes. Our host was very friendly but not intrusive. We had a meal in the pub one evening and it was superb, huge portions and home cooked. We would stay here again.
