The lodge was great, exactly as shown on photos, very clean and inviting, the hot tub had no light in but was told the part was on order for a long time, wasn't able to put the temp up any more than 37° every other lodge i have been to with a tub allows you to put up to 40, which in winter is needed it makes a big difference, We have booked to come again in June as we did really enjoy it, the site is lovely and peaceful and the lodge is a great location on the site.

The only thing i would say which is quite dangerous, is the cooking pans, for some reason the handles get very hot i made sure the handles weren't over the hob at all and i nearly scolded my hand i went to pick it up and realised how hot it was when i picked it up luckily i didn't move it away from the hob to much so i could drop it, i would say they need replacing to stop any bad injury i don't want anyone to get burnt badly, and they do get really hot not just warn, it was more the middle size one, maybe a hand towel in the bathrooms would be helpful too, too save using the big towels for drying hands on, but we had a great stay and looking forward to coming again.

We thought Oak Lodge was amazing - very spacious accomation for me, my husband and our dog - a Miniature Schauzer.

The accommodation was immaculately clean, our only critisism was that the cutlery and mugs could have been washed cleaner, but that was probably down to previous occupants; we are always fastidious at cleaning such items. The location of the lodge, overlooking a lake was truely lovely, the weather was dry so we were able to use the decked area outside and Wilson (our dog) was absolutely fascinated watching the ducks from there. Beaconsfield Holiday Park was a lovely, very spacious site to stay on and very quiet at the end of October; we'd travelled a long way to get there and happily spent the first day wandering around the site. Would thoroughly recommend Oak Lodge for a relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful holiday.

The lodge was spotlessly clean when we arrived and it had all the essentials that we needed. The property was very comfortable and the hot tub was an added extra. The staff were really pleasant and helpful. The grounds were immaculate and there was plenty of wildlife to see - moorhens, ducks, rabbits, etc. We took a dog with us and the off lead exercise area was a real bonus. The swimming pool & changing facilities were spotless, too. The Croft restaurant had delicious food.
