    “A good experience for growing children.”

    I visited Keldy with my children then again with my grandchildren. I visited Cropton after lockdown 2 with my family to get together safely after Covid. I returned this week with my husband to have the experience together. just the two of us.

Unique to Keldy, this cosy Yorkshire cottage sits alongside our other cabins in the forest and has a sauna, roll top bath and added extras for your stay. This one-bedroom cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, robes, slippers and hairdryer in the master bedrooms, plus towels for all guests. Cabins at Keldy Forest lie amongst idyllic woodland and sunlit glades.

Coast, countryside and moorland are nearby, giving an authentic Yorkshire feel.

Catch Harry Potter’s steam train through the moors, hike along the famous Cinder Track, or explore the surrounding forest, where the hooting of the nocturnal Tawny owl fills the air. Stay close and jump on the 100m zip wire experience in the forest, hire bikes and cycle the 'lost' Bransdale Loop, explore the North York Moors National Park right on your doorstep, or take a trip to the rugged beaches like Whitby and Scarborough nearby.

KELDY FOREST

Keldy Forest is idyllic woodland and sunlit glades. Coast, countryside and moorland are nearby, giving an authentic Yorkshire feel. Hike along the famous Cinder Track, cycle the 'lost' Bransdale Loop or explore the surrounding forest, where the hooting of the nocturnal tawny owl fills the air. Pickering is the closest town to Keldy and along with Ryedale's other towns of Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside, Malton and Norton, it has independent shops, art galleries, excellent restaurants, and a host of festivals and special events. Pickering is also at the end of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway line. Catch the steam train to Goathland, where you can step off at Hogsmeade Station from Harry Potter and walk through Aidensfield from TV’s Heartbeat.
