    “The key access was from a key safe which was very difficult to open.”

    The previous visitors had also had problems with it. the chalet was very tired and needed a complete overhaul. it was clean however and the bed was comfy. The settee had very little support and as difficult to rise from but the worst thing was the door knob from the bathroom was terribly difficult to open and my partner had to knock on the door for assistance to open it on several occasions. I dread to think what would have happened if she had been on her own. The site itself was clean and ...

The site itself was clean and neat, however there where no social activities as the community bar was closed and there was nowhere on site to meet with friends. As i already said the chalet was clean and the bed was spotless and comfortable which is why ive rated the stay as a 3.

    Thank you for your valued feedback. We are constantly working on improving the chalet and the decorating is an ongoing project. Cleanliness and comfort are our main goals so I am pleased that you felt that these were attained. The provision of free Internet access and a smart tv are the first of many improvements we are making. The key code instructions were sent to you in advance of your holiday and unfortunately you misplaced them (as did the previous customer) causing some confusion but this was easily resolved in short order. We are aware of the bathroom handle issue and this is scheduled for replacement but you are the first to claim that you couldn’t exit the bathroom?!? We have had no other comments on the sofa. There are no claims by ourselves or the site that social spaces are available in the listing page but the site owners are currently building a multi million pound health centre and site club area which will be available for the enjoyment of anyone staying with us sometime next year. There are however many restaurants and pubs that can be patronised very close to the park. Thank you once again for staying with us, I’m sorry you felt that such a low feedback score was necessary but we do take your comments on board and will continue to make adjustments to further improve the customer experience. PADSTOW

Harlyn 2.9 miles; Constantine Bay 4.2 miles; Polzeath 15.6 miles.

Padstow is situated at the head of the Camel Cycle Trail and is a fantastic base for exploring the South West Coastal Path which opens up routes to beautiful Cornish countryside. This delightful fishing port is surrounded by sandy beaches and offers many opportunities to taste the locally sourced produce in celebrity owned establishments. Padstow has something for everyone with watersports, walking, cycling and fishing, you can even take a trip on a local fisherman’s boat! The excellent surfing beaches of Harlyn and Constantine are ideal for safe family fun, and Constantine Bay is also home to a golf course, just a few miles away, while a passenger ferry across the river from Padstow to Rock takes you to the beach at Daymer Bay.
