A fantastic stay on Twelve Acres Farm.
We were staying in the Maple Lodge which was perfect for the two of us with a bedroom each. Parking right next to the lodge and only a small step up into the property which is great for any with mobility issues. The interior was immaculately clean when we arrived. A great kitchen with plenty of crockery and cooking utensils. Oven + microwave. A lovely area to sit out with a view across the fields. Staff in reception were very friendly and helpful and overall we had a lovely time. The location is great for getting out and about. We had no problem finding the site using sat nav. The mattress in the smaller bedroom could have been a bit firmer for my liking but was fine for a few nights.
Maple lodge was beautiful.
We took our elderly Mother with us and only having having one step up onto the decking to enter the caravan was brilliant as usually there's 3 or more. The lodge was immaculate and very clean and comfortable. Being dog friendly was a bonus. The owners also left a welcome bundle. The outside areas are well kept and clean and tidy. It's a working farm so there is plenty of livestock around to see. I fell in love with the farms horses. Plenty of views from the lodge too. Very close to towns and the coast for days out. Will definitely be returning.
