What guests are saying
The property was average.
There is mould starting in the freezer compartment at one side and in the door seal. The cutlery and plates weren't properly cleaned however this seems the norm nowadays so always wash what we might use beforehand. The pans had seen better days so food just stuck so only tried using the once. The carpet needed a good vacuum and there wasn't anything in the cabin to do ourselves. A dustpan and brush would also be useful. Bed was ok a bit hard for me but again it seems standard. On the plus side the decking was north facing which was great in the heat. The table was badly rusted though. The site itself was ok and easy walking along the old railway route. Had lots of property options on site.
Everything was perfect from check in to departure .
Staff at low briery couldn’t be more helpful. Cabin clean and well maintained, comfy beds and well equipped kitchen, shower amazing . some sign of wear but to be expected . Decking recently replaced which made a fab area for sitting out and enjoying the view. Recently opened coffee shop on site which I can highly recommend for coffee and cakes. Have booked again already for next year
Low Briery is a well maintained holiday village on outskirts of Keswick offering great views and easy access via the old railway line into the town and surrounding hills.
Quiet site and parking good. The property was clean but Cabin 39 is in need of modernisation and a make-over, all I can say is the interior, fittings and some bits of furniture have seen better days. However, it was lovely and warm with a good powerful shower. The shower head did have signs of mould which was a little off putting but was easily cleaned before use. We would certainly stay at Low Briery again but in a more modern property. Ideal spot for dogs
