What guests are saying
The staff, particularly the young ladies in reception, were pleasant and efficient.
The location is good, for those who don't know it a what3words location would help (///opened.situates.suspends) Carpet in the communal stairs is not a good idea in properties such as these. The layout of the flat is good and generally clean on the surface but tired. As with many establishments it is the little things that let the apartment down. E.g. * "Sharp" knives that wouldn't cut warm butter * Loose shower head in a ridiculous position * Small and unresponsive tv * No heating control other than individual radiators necessitating opening windows * Electricity cut emergency kit contents missing, not an issue but reported as didn't want to be charged. Basically disinterested. If responsible members of staff, or better still the owners, spent a night or two in the accommodation a lot of minor niggles could be remedied. The flat was comfortable and in summer months it would be good to dine on the balcony overlooking the river. We would go again but would have expectations commensurate with past experience.
This was a lovely apartment, the river and greenery made it peaceful.
We biked/scootered to Keswick and then locked the bikes up in Fitz park.
Comfortable and spotlessly clean, lots of space balcony overlooking river was a bonus.
Would have liked more information about the site and surrounding walks etc in the book in the apartment however reception staff were very helpful. Position of site excellent on the old railway line an easy walk into Keswick
