Description
Surrounded by peaceful woodland and gentle streams, and within easy reach of Looe and Polperro, 6 Stonerush Valley offers a tranquil Cornish escape with lakes, wildlife and countryside views all around.
Set within a generous plot for a reassuring sense of privacy, this single-storey lodge pairs serene surroundings with a private wraparound deck and bubbling hot tub, ideal for couples, families or friends seeking space, comfort and fresh air.
A short woodland stroll leads you to the lodge, where vaulted ceilings and warm timber details create an immediate feeling of openness.
The bright open-plan living space is designed for relaxed, sociable stays: deep seating arranged around a sleek woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a Smart TV for laid-back film nights, and wide windows framing the greenery outside.
The kitchen blends natural textures with soft green tones and is fully equipped for easy self-catering, whether that’s a simple breakfast before the beach or a celebratory supper.
If you’d rather take the night off, The Old Mill Bar & Restaurant onsite serves wood-fired pizzas, family favourites and handcrafted cocktails in a welcoming lakeside setting, all just a short stroll away, no driving required.
Two restful bedrooms invite you to unwind after days on the coast.
The king-size master enjoys its own en-suite walk-in shower, while the twin room offers flexible sleeping for children or additional guests.
Expect comfortable mattresses, quality bed linens, fluffy towels and thoughtful finishing touches that elevate the stay.
A contemporary family bathroom completes the layout, perfect for a long soak after exploring.
Outside, the wraparound deck is the true highlight.
Sink into the hot tub as the nearby stream murmurs and the stars appear overhead.
With woodland trails from the doorstep, you can explore at your own pace before venturing further afield.
The harbour towns of Looe and Polperro are both a short drive away, offering sandy beaches, boat trips, independent shops and excellent seafood.
Beach days are easily spent at East Looe Beach or dog-friendly Talland Bay and Seaton, while scenic coves like Readymoney Cove near Fowey provide classic Cornish charm.
Families can head to Eden Project, brave the zip wires at Adrenalin Quarry, or explore the dramatic landscapes of Bodmin Moor for a change of scenery.
With the South West Coast Path within reach and a friendly onsite team on hand throughout your stay, 6 Stonerush Valley delivers the best of both worlds: secluded woodland tranquillity and effortless access to Cornwall’s most loved coastal hotspots.
Whether you’re soaking in the hot tub after a windswept walk or planning tomorrow’s beach adventure, this lodge makes switching off feel easy in any season.

What guests are saying
Lovely and peaceful a great couple days away, place all clean and tidy and has everything you may need.
This was the best accommodation we have stayed in on site.
Lots of little touches that make the difference. The addition of a few well placed plants and extra decorations really made it feel even more special. The dining room table and chairs were great for playing games or eating at, so comfortable. The decking furniture was of a higher standard than we have had before, and again, this makes it feel special. The whole lodge was clean and fresh and had that feel of luxury. The bed was so comfortable and no issues with sleeping. The only noise we could hear was the babbling brook below and watching the squirrels playing. Wish we had booked for longer. Would love to live here.
