Step through the door and into a single-storey space where the layout flows easily from room to room.

Two bathrooms provide flexibility for groups, one with a walk-in shower and the other with a bath and overhead shower.

Outside, the enclosed decking offers a quiet corner to sip your morning tea or share a meal alfresco, with woodland views all around.

The hot tub bubbles gently nearby, ready to ease tired limbs after a day spent walking trails or wandering through the market town of Louth.

I love the Swiss style traditional lodges and have stayed in a few different ones over the years.

Only a couple of issues.,The headboard on the double bed is not attached to the bed on one side. Either to bolt is missing or slot broken. So it was tilted and wobbly. Couldn’t sit up in bed against headboard. Also coffee table. Chunky wood, but in pieces like a game of jenga. And no wi-fi !!!! Washing up liquid / J cloth would be helpful.1sml soap only complimentary toiletries.
