We had a great time at Combe Martin and neighbouring, Ilfracombe.
The log cabin was clean and tidy, but the hot water didn't come out through the shower, so had to kneel down in the bath to wash. The sofas need updating aswell. Otherwise, everything else was fine.
It was a spotless lodge and everything you need for Cooking etc.
Beds are very comfortable but the Sofas need replacing as they sink down and are not comfortable. Specially if you have back trouble. Also the shower was feeding boiling water and very difficult to adjust the temperature to make the water cooler. Only worked if turned on slightly, which made the shower pressure very low. Hope this review helps the owners to get it repaired. Overall the accommodation was good and would return again in the future.
It was perfect for what we needed - although it was a shame that the playpark was out of use and looked like it had been for a while - my little boy was devatated!
This then meant we had to go down to the village which was fine but the path down was very overgrown and hard with the buggy! The field is a lifesaver with the dogs and the guy who was looking after the place was superb - really friendly and helpful so thank you :) Beautiful area and we look forward to exploring more in years to come!
