Set within Manleigh Park in Combe Martin, Devon, 7 Manleigh Park is a charming two-bedroom lodge providing a relaxing retreat on the edge of Exmoor National Park.

Enjoying far-reaching views across the valley towards the village, coastline and surrounding woodland, this inviting property is within easy walking distance of Combe Martin’s sandy, dog-friendly beach, where families can explore rock pools, paddle in the sea, or unwind by the shore.

Ideal for four guests and two dogs, it offers a great base for discovering North Devon, including Ilfracombe, Croyde, and Woolacombe Bay.

On arrival, park in the allocated space before collecting your belongings and heading inside.

The open-plan living area forms the hub of the lodge, offering everything needed for a relaxed self-catering stay.

Prepare meals in the kitchen, come together around the dining table to share highlights of the day, and settle into the sitting area to unwind in front of the TV.

When the weather allows, step out onto the decked veranda to enjoy dining alfresco while taking in the surroundings and fresh coastal air as evening sets in.

When it’s time to rest, choose between a double and a twin bedroom, both offering a pleasant space to recharge ahead of another day of exploring.

COMBE MARTIN

Ilfracombe 5 miles; Woolacombe 12 miles; Barnstaple 13 miles.

At the point where the Exmoor National Park and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty meet, is where you'll find Combe Martin. This small seaside resort, with all of the necessary amenities, is a great attraction to locals and visitors alike. Combe Martin has a very popular beach; the sheltered cove is perfect for rock-pooling and it is a popular paddle boarding bay. The village also boasts its own Wildlife and Dinosaur Park! Combe Martin is home to the historic Earl of Rone festival held in May each year and has an annual carnival in August. This is an ideal base for touring, and discovering the delights of North Devon, with Lynton and Lynmouth, Woolacombe, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Ilfracombe and Barnstaple all within easy reach. There are also numerous National Trust properties and gardens waiting to be enjoyed. Surfing at Woolacombe is among the best in the South West, while the South West coastal path passes within a mile.
