Cabin 3.0 (Pet), a lovely lodge, is nestled on Barnsoul Holiday Park near Dumfries, Dumfries and Galloway, where the soft rustle of leaves and birdsong set the tone for your arrival.

With sustainable construction, designated parking, and a dog welcome pack waiting inside, this eco-friendly lodge offers a thoughtful base for families or groups travelling with up to two well-behaved pets.

Step through the door and into a single-storey retreat where natural textures and light blend with the surrounding landscape.

Three bedrooms await, each with its own en-suite, offering practical comfort and privacy.

The king-size room features a bath with shower overhead, basin, and WC, while one twin room includes a walk-in shower, basin, and WC.

The second twin room is equipped with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC, and a washer/dryer, ideal for longer stays or muddy woodland walks.

At the heart of the lodge, the open-plan living area invites you to gather and unwind.

The seating is arranged for relaxed evenings in front of the TV, while the kitchen is well-equipped for everyday meals and celebratory dinners alike.

Meals can be enjoyed at the dining table, where conversation flows as freely as the wine.

Step outside onto the decking, where outdoor furniture offers a quiet perch to enjoy your morning brew or dine alfresco, surrounded by woodland views and the gentle rhythm of nature.

The site is very peaceful and quiet.

The accommodation is very modern and comfortable with each of the 3 bedrooms having its own en-suite. The twin beds were very narrow though I found out later that they could have been made into doubles. The kitchen-lounge-diner is very spacious and nicely furnished, though the kitchen could have been a little better equipped - no table mats and only one pot had a lid.. Plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery though. There was only one dishwasher tablet provided and no washing up liquid. Useful to know about this before you arrive as there are no shops nearby. It was pleasant to sit out on the balcony in the evening. The site is still under development and the road up to the cabins is quite potholed.

We had a lovely time the cabin was beautiful and very well proportioned.

Warm, kitchen well stocked with utilities. Lovely sitting area and bedrooms. We were very happy.
