Very peaceful well appointed chalet, could do with more facility on site and a much larger generator

The room was beautiful very clean and the beds were comfortable.

The place its self is very beautiful. The only issue we had that up set me a bit was we didn't get to find out they were work going on on the site until the day of travelling ,so roads were very dirty with the rain aswell . But the other issue was they decided to cut the wet grass on our second day ,out side were we were staying and when u have two dogs the grass in the place we were staying was horrible as you can imagine wet grass gets every were . I dont understand why this cudnt be done before or left until we went home . We did cut our hoilday short we went home the Friday instead of the sat . we had a nice time visiting differnt places we do love Scotland.

We loved the lodge, first impression when we got in was it was stunning.

Comfortable sofa and bed. Shower was great. Oven was easy to work, large fridge and freezer and a wine chill, although we couldnt seem to get that to cool down but plenty room in the fridge. The couple of thing i would suggest is to have a sponge for washing dishes, as it said that was included in welcome pack so we didnt bring one, although tea towels were provided and 1 dishwasher tablet, which was needed for the last day. I would suggest providing a chopping board as the kitchen is lovely and dont like the idea of chopping on the work top, also provision of a basin and drainer so that you can wash dishes. The site is very quiet, exactly what we needed and we have booked again for feb. The only downside was we couldnt open front doors as there is no gate on the steps, as a pet friendly lodge this really needs rectified.
