What guests are saying
Beautiful lodge with lovely decor and very well equipped kitchen
Site roads damaged, poor and with severe speed bumps Bare laminate floor in lounge could do with rug.
No clear instructions for dishwasher, oven. No egg cups No place mats Short of teaspoons (3) Needs another small chopping board Loose, small and misaligned toilet seat in bathroom. WiFi uselessly weak Power cut on last night from 18.30, expected to last 3 hours, so we went home early in heavy rain.
Lodge was great.
Worked well for our family. Really clean and well presented. However no WiFi password provided and no phone signal at the lodge. Park WiFi only works in the bar area. The Park Dean site itself was poor. We were told we couldn’t go swimming as it was fully booked for next 2 weeks. Booked pottery painting, no one turned up. So had to get a refund. Bits of wood lying around site with nails sticking out. Glasses and bottles left on a high chair in small children’s play area. Marina area in poor state of repair. Concrete all broken up and bits of metal sticking out. Constantly telling children to stay off and be careful around the site. All not ideal for a holiday with small children. We booked the site mainly for the facilities and entertainment for the children. Overall Lodge great, site poor.
