What guests are saying
Spacious, comfortable with great views.
I loved this lodge and will be returning in the new year or sooner if we can The only recommendations I would suggest is to get the small sofa cleaned as it is very stained and the curtain pole over the bifold door is a night mare to close we gave up in the end I would also maybe have a sign warning of the steps being very slippy when wet the beds are so comfortable!
And the lodge is immaculate the view over the lake is to die for Looking forward to our next visit
Overall the property was as described/shown in the photos.
Issues: Bi-fold doors broken mechanism - handle inside not attached, could only lock with some considerable strength from outside. Broken shards of plastic trim outside of the property. Kitchen utensils - 1 melted plastic utensil, not hygenic to use this during our stay. Twin room - right hand side bed, corner of room very dusty/dirty/mouldy. Perhaps issue wirh shower in en-suite causing this through wall? Under lounge furniture we found cereal from a previous family staying? Outside furniture cushions - stained and what could be described as chocolate stains not wiped off/clean. Fridge did not cool food adequately. It was 23-25c when staying so should not be overly strenous for the fridge, but ice forming inside suggests its stressed/old. No fans provided for hotter weather, making it very difficult to sleep comfortably. No parasol/awning to sit outside. The seating area gets a LOT of sunshine, but there is very little shade to be found out there.
